Shawn Endsley is a Partner with CAUSA Talent Source. He has over forty years’ experience with four large public companies, an international public accounting firm and national professional services firm. Shawn is a CPA and has an MBA from The Ohio State University. He has used his business, accounting, management and leadership skills to produce increased productivity, compliance and transparency for his clients and employers.

Shawn’s C-Suite experience includes Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller. He has also served as consultant and senior manager with a national professional services firm and international public accounting firm. This experience spans the business life cycle including financing, restructuring, rapid growth, expense management, regulatory compliance (including SEC reporting), investor relations, budgeting and strategic planning, system integration and federal and state tax management.

• Led the annual development of the five year strategic plan and budget for six consecutive years.

• Supervised the implementation of a SaaS based ERP system that was delivered on-time and on-budget.

• Managed the Audit Committee relationship for two public companies ensuring regulatory compliance and transparency.

• Managed the investor relations function.

• Completed due diligence activities for eight successful acquisitions and directed financial reviews for over 70 acquisition targets.

• Established a monthly financial and key business indicator forecasting function.

• Implemented expense and staff reduction programs that resulted in millions of cost savings.

• Improved business operations reducing the monthly close process from 20 working days to 5 working days, a 75% improvement.

• Outsourced federal, state and local tax management allowing for five staff to manage over 3,000 monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns.

• Provided key support for $100 million IPO and approximately $52 million in debt financing.

• Managed the SOX function through internal and external support for over 12 years.
